Team 153 and driver BLS_DeadBolt (aka "db") are proud to announce the completetion of thier new race shop. The new shop is located in Erie, Pa, same town as before, but at a different and larger location.
The move had been planned and has been worked on for some time, and is ready just in time for the new BLS and VLR series. The new shop, built by ABCO Pole Barns is larger and more accomodating (3700 sq. ft, custom built) for the growing fleet of #153 cars. These include four 2010 Gen3 Mastersbilt's, one Crate late Model, one NSDRA Late Model, and some side project cars.
Deadbolt recently acquired an NSDRA 05 Late Model, and it is the newest car in the stable. The NSDRA car will be used to run the upcoming BLS series slated to kick off September 22 at Clayton Ridge Speedway.
Team 153 is also looking to run with the VLR series full time in Crates and Gen3 Late Models. The VLR Series' are slated to kick off thier fall schedules this coming weekend at Attica Raceway Park, in Attica, Oh.
"This will be a great chance to get back in the swing of things fulltime. I like running Attica 'cause its close to home and the track always proves to make for an interesting outcome." said an optimistic BLS_Deadbolt.
Attica Raceway is located just three hours away from the new shop, and should provide the fans of the #153 a glimpse of what's in store this season for the always calm and cool BLS_Deadbolt.
"We are looking to run more full-time with a few series, and hit some other series at tracks we think we can run well at," said DeadBolt of the upcoming fall seasons in dtr2.
"I am excited that the VLR tour will run many races within a couple hours of our new shop this season, so hopefully we'll have a lot of fan support at most of the races as well as cutting down on travel time."
