Season 3 Champion (November 2005)
VLR_N, Highlight: Nitro completely dominated all season long. He had 11 starts and 11 top 3's and won an astounding 8 races on the way to the championship. A feat that will probably never be met again

VLR_Rac, Highlight: VLR_Rac had an awesome season. He made all 16 races and had an amazing 11 top 5's! He picked up 2 wins early in the season and had a rain benefited pole. He deserved the championship, and proved it by being ahead of 2nd place finisher VLR_Eat by over 400 points.

Season 6 Champion (December 2, 2006)
VLR_v56, Highlight: VLR_v56 had a stellar season, and it only got better as the season wound down. He finished with a VLR record 14 top fives. Add to that his five A main wins, including four in a row and you have a champion in the making. He also posted two poles and one b main win to wind down the remarkable season he had.

Season 7 Champion (April 21, 2007)
VLR_BR, Highlight: VLR_BR had a dominating season, and showed up for all sixteen events. He won the points championship over KsT*3w, who finished 222 points back. In BR's amazing season he  finished with 1667 points, showed for 16 races, started 15 A Main features and had two poles. He also registered the most wins of the season among the 64 competitors that showed up for at least one race, with five a main wins. He really caught fire near the end of the season and finished with 12 top 5's. What a great champion he is!

Season 8 Champion (October 14, 2007)
KsT_18, Highlight: KsT_18 pulled off a close win in the points for season 8 over VLR_Kevin. The race came right down to the wire with VLR_Kevin and VLR_Rac almost tied with points. KsT_18 somehow managed to win the championship with only 15 starts to make it 8 champions in 8 different seasons. Can he repeat? We'll find out!

Season 9 Champion (April 2008)

VLR_v56, Highlight: VLR_v56 became the first driver in VLR history to win 2 championships at VLR. It wasn't his easiest, however. KsT_18 finished the season just 26 behind him with 640 points, as he tried to become the only repeat winner of the championship, but came up short. VLR_v56 capped off his stellar run with 2 wins coming at WFO Raceway and Nowhere Speedway. VLR-v56's worst finish the entire season was a 6th place at the Rodeo finale, but by that point he had already won the championship in 12 starts. KsT_18 and VLR_Shock finished 2nd and 3rd in the final points.

Season 10 Champion (August 30, 2008)
VLR_18, Highlight: VLR_18 won the season championship in his first ever season as a VLR member. He won over teammate VLR_Shock by 48 points to become only the second driver ever to win 2 championships at VLR. 18 dominated with 6 wins in 12 races despite having to do so against the toughest competition ever in VLR, including 4 of the last 5 races. He's already announced plans to make a return next season with the hopes of becoming the first 3 time champion of VLR. But something tells us the competition will be even tougher this time around! Can he do it?

Season 11 Champion (February 14, 2009)

VLR_Shock, Highlight: VLR_Shock FINALLY won his first VLR default series championship after nearly 5 years of racing online. He won it with help from the first ever VLR chase, as he took the points lead in the first race of the 5 race chase over VLR_18 by winning at Western Springs. He followed that up by winning the next week as well at VLR Plex, and he used that small 8 point cushion that he had gathered going into race four to cap off a great last half of the season. He defeated VLR_18 by just 4 points to end the season, in the closest points battle EVER at VLR. VLR_18 won the season finale at Rodeo, but Shock finished in 2nd to make sure that he was the champion.

Season 12 Champion (August 2, 2009)

VLR_18, Highlight: VLR_18 dominated season 12 of VLR, the 5th anniversary tour on his way to becoming the first ever 3 time champion of VLR. He defeated teammate VLR_Shock by 19 points on the way to winning, the third straight season that these two have finished 1-2 in points. VLR_18 nearly broke VLR_N's record of 8 wins in a season, as he picked up 7 wins in 11 races that he was in attendance at. In his 11 starts he had 10 top 2 finishes, something that has never been done. His only blemish was a 6th place finish at I-44 early in the season.

Season 13 Champion (March 26, 2010)

VLR_18, Highlight: It was another Jimmie Johnson like performance by VLR_18 as he became the first VLR champion to win two in a row and his fourth total. Once again he dominated all year by winning half of the races (6) and beat out teammate VLR_Shock by 60 points, making it the fourth straight year that these two have finished 1-2 in the points. BLS_F1yer made a strong effort all season and finished 3rd in points, right behind VLR_Shock. VLR_18 finished in the top 5 in every single race he ran, with a worst finish of fifth at Western Springs.

Season 14 Champion (August 8, 2010)

VLR_18, Highlight: VLR_18 once again had a stellar season. Despite a modest-for-him win total of three, VLR_18 still grabbed the championship to make it his fifth championship at VLR and three in a row to date. To back up his three wins, VLR_18 used six second place finishes, including four in a row to finish the season, to fend off VLR_Shock by 20 points to win the championship. His worst finish was third place (3 times) throughout the entire season.

Season 15 Champion (December 12, 2010)

VLR_18, Highlight: VLR_18 started season 15 the same way he had finished the three previous ones, on top of the standings. 18 won the first race of the season and never looked back as he would go on to lead the points for the entire twelve race season. This was the sixth straight season VLR_18 and VLR_Shock finished 1-2 in the point standings, with 18 winning by a healthy 38 point margin for his fourth championship in a row, and unprecedented sixth championship at VLR. VLR_18 won four races  and looks to be impossible to beat when it comes to championships at VLR.

Season 16 Champion (June 12, 2011)

VLR_18, Highlight: VLR_18 won his fifth straight championship at VLR, but it was his toughest yet as the battle for the championship came down to the last lap of the last race but VLR_18 held off teammate VLR_JW by three points to win with a total of 279 to JW's 276. VLR_Shock had a very competitive season as well and finished third in the standings, just nine points out of the lead at the end of the season.

Season 17 Champion (December 11, 2011)

VLR_18, Highlight: The domination continued for VLR_18 in season 17. The Wisconsin driver tallied six wins in twelve races and astonishingly won every other race throughout the season. He won races 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 for his sixth straight championship. Like in season 16, he held off teammates VLR_JW and VLR_Shock again, but this time 18 finished with a comfortable 20 point lead in the standings. JFR*A2D and BLS_BW43 rounded out the top five in points.

Season 18 Champion (May 13, 2012)

VLR_Shock, Highlight: It wasn't exactly the most dominant season in VLR history, but VLR_Shock proved to be the most consistent driver in a grueling season which saw BLS_18's six championship in a row streak go down. Shock opened the season with back to back runner up finishes while going on to finish in the top five in every race along with back-to-back wins at Kokomo Speedway and Orange County Fair with an incredible average finish of 2.64. BLS_18 finished second in points, just four ahead of third place VLR_JW. Finishes of 7th, 9th, and 17th (after swapping spots) derailed any hope SKM_18 had of being champion for seven straight seasons despite picking up four wins.

Season 19 Champion (December 2, 2012)

BLS_18, Highlight: BLS_18 found redemption after getting upset by VLR_Shock in season 18. The Wisconsin driver picked up a season high four wins, including the finale at Portsmouth to beat VLR_Shock by a modest five points. His average finish of 2.5 was one of the best in VLR history. VLR_Gage, Doit 97 (Ice), and Faschek rounded out the top five in points as Faschek had his best season in VLR history.

Season 20 Champion (June 16, 2013)

BLS_18, Highlight: It was the same story, different season for BLS_18 in season 20. After struggling through the first half of the season and finding himself lower in points than expected, 18 proceeded to go on the most dominant run in VLR history. 18 would shatter VLR_Shock's record of four wins in a row in VLRs top series by winning the last seven races of the season! Despite winning 8 of the 12 races, he still only beat perinneal runner up VLR_Shock by three points in the final standings.

Season 21 Champion (March 9, 2014)

BLS_18, Highlight: In one of the most grueling seasons to date, VLR debuted a new format which had the drivers line up by reverse average finish in the A Main. The new format proved challening for most drivers, but not BLS_18. The most dominant driver in VLR history managed to win four races despite starting in the rear of the field nearly every week. 18s worst finish of the year was fourth place. Teammate BLS_BW43 had his best career VLR point finish and won the opening race of the season before slowly fading down the stretch.

Season 22 Champion (October 26, 2014)

BLS_18, Highlight: Once again, BLS_18 found himself at the top of the heap in VLRs premier series. 18 started the season by winning the biggest race in VLR history, the $200 to win Cedar Lake USA Nationals. The next week saw more of the same at a brand new Lucas Oil 2015 track. The success continued despite VLR's reverse average finish lineups and the sim racer managed to win four races. Perhaps just as impressive, BLS_18 recorded six runner up finishes with a worst finish of 3rd the whole season. He finished first or second in 10 of his 11 starts despite starting in the very back of the field almost every week. He held off runner up VLR_Shock by 11 points.

Season 23 Champion (June 28, 2015)

BLS_18, Highlight: It was VLR's most competitive season yet. Still, BLS_18 was able to find success despite the format, and would go on to hold off newcomer to the VLR points chase, XCR_Orso, by a modest three points. The two drivers came into the season finale at Eldora separated by only one point in the standings in VLRs most exciting finale ever. The winner of the race would be the champion. For nearly the entire race it looked like the title of VLR Champion would finally change hands again as XCR_Orso dominated the race until 14 laps to go when a caution came out. The Illinois driver had held off and even pulled away from BLS_18 despite both drivers starting in the rear of the field. However, the late restart bunched everything up and gave BLS_18 one last chance to win his fifth VLR championship in a row. After the restart, the two all star drivers battled side by side lap after lap while swapping the lead multiple times. However, when the dust had settled on the last lap it was 18 who powered around XCR_Orso to take the win and subsequently, the championship. 18 won the championship by three points over Orso, while VLR_Shock was third, 15 points behind.
