Neuhalfen wins by .008 seconds at Kokomo in thrilling finish!

November 30, 2018 - After winning his heat and starting on the pole, Cole Neuhalfen would take the lead and never look back all night until a thrilling finish to a great race at Kokomo Speedway. The young driver from the small town of Waverly, Nebraska took home the win in the first heat of the night to put himself on the pole for the A main feature.

Neuhalfen had to hold off the likes of Alex Bergeron and Kevin Dedmon en route to earning his first win of the 3D Team VLR Limited Late Model Series. This was also Neuhalfen’s first Team VLR win of his career. A final lap effort by Kevin Dedmon had everyone on the edge of their seat as it appeared to the broadcast crew that Dedmon and pulled off the upset after Neuhalfen had led the entire race. Once the dust settled and the race officials were able to review the scoring and video replay they were able to confirm the win for Neuhalfen by a margin of just 0.008 seconds at the line.
