BROWNSTOWN, IN. (January 20, 2012)- Eighteen of the fastest cars in the business showed up to race in week three of the Xtreme Octane Dirt Late Model Series. There was some very close racing at this 1/4 mile dirt track on Friday Night. Many of the races were being decided by inches.

But at the end of the night it would be only the fastest drivers making the stout ten car A-Main. Your front row coming to the green of the feature was VLR Shock and JFR*Blaze.That would not last long just a few laps into the feature event JFR*Blaze would go off the track on the backstrech and would be out of contention for the win while VLR_Shock remained out front.

The action would still be up front as VLR 18 and VLR Shock would battle for the lead like they have done many times throughout their careers. Their driving style makes them similar to the Jimmy Owens and Scott Bloomquist of DTR2.

While the battle was heating up out front, BLS Jsn and JFR*Faschek would be battling for 3rd. Some rough driving by the VLR_0 and VLR_18 cars up front would end up with a little gap between the two of them as 18 would move to the lead. VLR_18 would slowly pull away and pull off yet another victory at the XOR series.

The top five would look like this at the end of the night. VLR 18 (Brookfield, WI) bringing home the win. VLR_Shock (Crossville, TN) 2nd. BLS Jsn (Kokomo, IN) managing to pass Faschek (Hindman, KY) for 3rd. JFR Faschek 4th. 5th would be BLS BW (Sparta, MI).

We got 18 cars again for the second week in a row. I would like to thank all the drivers that have been coming out and showing their support. We would like to get 20 cars this week.
