Here soon we plan to bring an all new Late Model Chassis to DTR2, and the most unique Late Model Chassis in DTR2 history to make for insane racing action and a cool design layout. Here are the features of the new UMP Summer Hell Tour LM listed in order of importance?:

1. Extreme Tire Wear, even on 47 wet! Until now, apparently nobody has discovered how to get more tire wear and on different wetnesses. We have, and are still tweaking on getting the tire wear just right. Choosing a compound has never been such a big deal and never has had such a large effect on your lap times, even on 47 wet! The right tire combination will vary at all different types of tracks and competition level. It will be very possible to see a driver go from 10th to 1st very quickly now on soft tires. The question will be, can they sustain the track position once the tires begin to fall off drastically, or will they be forced to try to salvage a top 5 finish when other drivers tire compound choice kicks in? This is the most exciting thing about the new chassis and will change the way DTR2 races!

2. Visual Cosmetic's and grime: We (currently) have four different Late Model Chassis in the works. All of them feature cosmetic damage like many of the Dirt late Models have after running the Summer Hell Tour on many nights over the summer. Most of the chassis also include heavy grime and dirt that make it look like they've been through hell on a dirt track, one chassis even includes a donut mark on the side from some previous beating and banging. The best part is that you can transfer your skin to the chassis of your choice and all the dirt, grime, and donut marks will be there so you don't have to paint them on yourself. The 4th chassis has very little grime if you want to keep the cleaner look, but that's no fun .

3. Money series soon?: We need to get a few donations to really kick this off sooner, but regardless I plan to have a big money series with these cars in the next few months, hopefully during the summer. I'm planning to move soon though so we have to see how everything goes with that first. I definitely plan to host a series of some kind with these cars first, though, and I hope more leagues will pick up on them because they should be awesome! I'd love to have a test session with them soon. I will probably host a series in place of the series Eric started (and didn't finish of course) on Sunday nights.

With how the BLS LM's drive along with the tire wear, it was damn fun. The best part is you don't hit your fast lap but a couple laps and then the tires slowly wear out. When testing I ran a 13.07 as a fast lap and the last lap of the race I was in the 13.70's

I just ran a few at Batesville 2013 v2 and for the first lap or 2 i hit 13 .57 on the low side but was 14.20's after 10 laps. I did find after a few tries that if i changed the line from low to high when the tires started to go i was able to hit better a trt.

Ranger I noticed that too!!! That's really cool if the line starts changing depending on your tire wear...that's like a whole new game lol.

Can't wait for it to start. I'll be at as most of the races as I can. Weekends are kinda sketchy with real racing commitments I got. Kinda weird though looking at the pics, the front tires are cutting thru the nose....next generation of cars maybe we can get somebody to trim that a little so its not looking like the tires are going thru the nose like that.

Tonight we are gonna try to run these in place of Eric's series!!!

I can fix that...I just did it on those cars as part of the damage on that model but didn't realize the tire would be poking through lol

Its on a few cars actually. I noticed it watching Gen5 replays for screenshots and stuff. Even when there's no damage the cars still have the tires poking thru the nose. With the corners of the nose pieces somewhere inside the tire.

He's always got something to complain about...he can never just enjoy what has been created for him,always has some stupid comment.

They raced well tonight. It definitely adds another dimension to the racing.

I think something cool about them is how if someone gets out ot a big lead on soft tires, and someone on say medium tires runs them down eventually, is that by the time the guy on mediums would catch the guy on softs, both their tires would be worn down almost too the max which makes them be able to battle for the win instead of the guy on mediums just checking out. It happened last night in the second race and is pretty cool to have two terrible handling cars battling for a win lol. Maybe if someone was on hard tires they could have snuck by for a win
