well i said 930 because i figured the softball game would be over by then.shit happens.

I was happy with the 11.9sumin, but I cant get in the same time brackets as shock(er) or anyone thats mad fast. I'm hoping it's somewhere in my rates, I was pretty much full throtlle and could barely hit 12.2s, but when I let off a lil I hit the 11.9s and when I let off too much it sailed to 12.8s, stayed in the same groove but was no where even close to a 11.90. I can run the same line with the same set that Shock(er) and others are usin that come right in and hit 11.8s, and consistantly hit 12.2s with a fastest lap of 11.97, It's almost like not having a set in DTR2, or not having it on 100% realism, always .2-.5 off. How can I fix this. I can run the line the exact same way with the exact same set, but am way off in time. Please help, It's not fun when your racing alone and not competitive, and I am one that HAS to win at some point, but at this rate I won't even be able to quali in the top 10. I use a Logitech Momo wheel, and I have no idea what the rates are supposed to be or why we even have to mess with them. I was also wondering, how can you set the game up to qualify, run up to 4 heats, run a Dash for Cash, run a C-Main (if needed), run a B-main, and finally the Feature event. If someone will figure this out, I would be more than happy to start a series!!! At least we wouldnt just quali and run, we need heats to sort out the top 6, we need the dash to put them in order or to invert, we need the Cs, or B-main to figure out who is going to load it up, and Finally the A main, to see who has gotten their car up to par to win the Main Event. With 25+ cars showing up, we will only run 20 cars, with the top 6 set in the A and the Bottom 5 loading up (bigger tracks will have bigger fields), the rest of the pack has to step it up to try to ride the rim, or nudge their way through on the bottom, with the lap cars tryin to improve their possistions also, there will be kaos, and maybe just maybe, the guy starting in 18th might ride the rim and finally inch the win out of the fastest car of the night. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what i have learned about rf, it is all about your rates. and different cars sometimes need different rates. I am by no means an expert at rf. but i will share with anyone who will ask. i mainly use one set for dtrf as well. still not used to the tweakins yet. but my rates are :steering 10, throttle 95, brake 20, clutch 10, bottom four all at zero, not sure if difficulty setting changes anything. but i have it on veteran

What I've learned about rFactor at the tracks we've ran so far is that you can't pass without running into someone really hard and hoping they get loose. Even then its like the cars don't really feel it and so you are still not able to pass, cleanly...

I've passed plenty the last few nights without having to get into them with the exception of Tj lol, but yeah its very hard to pass and you almost do have to run in hard and get into the person on the outside of you, but what I would do is just run hard into the turn, back almost all the way out the throttle to where my car would stay down there then stand on it, it takes a couple laps but you'll eventually make the pass, UNLESS you don't have a few laps and need to get the job done right then and there, then by all means plant that nose hard under them and hope they lift or when y'all make contact you both come out alright LOL

Yeah I don't think it's the cars so much as the tracks. If the main groove was higher MAYBE there would be more passing, not sure. I've been qualifying out front most of the races so I haven't had to pass many cars but when I qualify second or third even then I just seem to get stuck there because if you let off some to keep from hitting someone when u try to pass then you lose way more time than in dtr2

Oh yeah startin out front is a BIG advantage in these cars, cause its so hard to pass and if your consistent the person behind you can't get around you unless they do get you loose a little or shove you up the track. I just wait and sometimes the person in front of me will kinda hit the middle groove enough for me to put my nose under them and hopefully make a pass in a few laps. Your right about lifting to stay off someone, it allows them to pull a few car lenghts on you, kinda like doin a brake check goin to the green flag in a race. Lastnight I started out front in a few races when I got off work and won them all, but when you get behind someone might as well get used to the view

Fast lap time all night was 11.77's by VLR_Shock and YBR_Shocker (Shocker was not in time for the 35 lapper so this was in the races we had after that). Most guys from 11.85 to 12.00's

Lmao..Now shock...If memory serves me right..i believe i was running 4th in the 1st 35 lapper that we ran..which I thought was the fun run...And me and u had a hell of a good race and i ended up winning that..regardless of u gettin taken out or whatever happened..just cuz that happened does not mean that the race didnt count..anythin happens in a real race and i aint never seen someone say basically a race didnt count cuz of whatever happened to them..now i believe u said that jason had got into ya or somethin and u hit the tire or whatever..but before that me and u was havin a real good race for the lead and i ended up winning..so..but thats what I personally think..so dont take it the wrong way or anything..but we had the race..we ran it..ppl was wrecking and ppl was hittin the tires..and i won the "first" 35 lapper that was ran..now after that i had left..didnt know ya was gonna run another one cuz from the sounds of it the first race didnt count cuz of what happend with just a few laps to go....but its kool..i'll just go along with me "not" winning that race..

I was talking about the race that started at 9:30. We ran one or two fun runs before that but the one that started at 9:30 was when more people came into the room because that was what was advertised on the website. I was talking about that race, and that is the one that I won. You beat me in a race before that after I hit the tire, but that wasn't the main race I guess you didn't read about it on the site starting at 9:30 and thought we were all just messing around. I am pretty sure you were in there for the one I'm talking about though.
