why did this game never take off?

The car's don't race all that good, and the biggest reason is because you can't make add ons for it! We'd all be playing it or WoO 2002 right now IMO if you could make add ons for it like you can in dtr2

I love playing that game offline, especially the midgets. The In-Car cameras are also vastly improved. The late models do seem to handle very awkwardly

Also, the track slicks off throughout the night when you race offline between the heat and feature.
