IFRT PRO Division Generation III Welcome Race fans to what seem to be another great night for racing! We come to Lernerville for the Gen III 50 lap shoot out. Allot of money on the line for this race and IFRT expecting a great turn out.
25 car unloaded, and the fans were in for a real treat. Legend driver EVR TD has come to show the boys how's it done. While talking to TD he had this to say " these guys here tonight got one thing on there mind's the purse and they will stop at nothing to get it including beating me at my own game" with this said heat one was lined up and was looking to be a great lineup.
Ifrt PJ was out to show everybody he was gonna be a force to reckon with tonight as he took home the first heat with EVR TD a full sec and half behind him. Heat 2 looked to be another great race.
A legend to many, EVR Lenny was on pole (also top Qualifier for this week) and would have his way with the field winning easily with XRT Jeff in sec place.
Third and final heat had IFRT Farmer winning over VLR 5150. B main 1 was set folks only the top 2 would transfer to tonight's show and it was looking to be an all out brawl for them to spots.
IFRT Welldriller had pole and would never look back from there. IFRT JDS tried a few time to take it over but setteld on sec place to make the A main.
B main 2 had IFRT BAD running for his life as IFRT JR007 was following very closely looking for a mistake by Bad but was not to be, both drivers had this to say "' IF we made the show we made it but if one was to wreck the other well then I guess we wrecked it we wasn't there to just sit and watch as rest of the field races around us, we drove hard and to the end to make sure we made it."
A main was set folks with 50 laps of hard core racing in the Generation late model III. IFRT-PJSRacer having the pole meant that EVR-Lenny and EVR TD were going to be force's to be reckon'd with.
Lap 2 brought out caution number one when XRT Jeff and IFRT bad got together in turn 3. With a complete restart. Lap 14 had an incident involving IFRT Farmer and XRT RB with IFRT JDS just missing them both and moving into 6th spot.
Later into he race when Well and Jeff decided to fight it out for 3rd seeing how's both the evr drivers checked out on rest of the field. IFRT PJ held his ground and was given a solid top 5 once again leaving him in the points lead for now. Just a slim lead of 23 points IFRT welldriller has gained some ground on him after this week.
Finishing order was al followes EVR LENNY09, EVR TD, IFRT WELLDRILLER, XRT JEFF, IFRT PJ, IFRT JDS, IFRT BAD, XRT RB rounded out rest of the field. Thanks everybody for another wonderful race and hope to see u all there wants again as we head to Fairmont for the Pepsi shoot out. JDS
