The win came quicker than most anyone expected given the tough drivers that race on a nightly basis in the game, but KP used a fast car and a little luck to find victory lane only about five months into his dtr2 career. After the NFR points leader and the top driver in the game VLR_18 had trouble with his throttle, KP took advantage and stromed to the lead by two seconds. VLR_18 got the lead one more time from him however before more throttle troubles struck.
This allowed VLR_KP to pick up his first win ever in dtr2 of what will probably be many more, as he held off VLR_18 for the top spot in a huge way to get his winning career going.
"If I could do a back flip I would have. I'm just so happy because even though 18's pedals messed up, it's like real life. Sometimes you blow tires, or sometimes my computer freezes...Shit happens.
