I think it would be cool if a dedicated series director or someone who can run a show would do a Lucas Oil or WoO LM sim series tour that lasts for a full nine months or so like in real life. If someone wanted to do this I would try my best to make all the tracks for it (like spending a couple days on each but when the schedule goes there it still looks almost just like the real one and races good too) so we could have an accurate sim series, with the same number of laps and rules/format as the real series.

I would even host the website and help update it if someone wanted to do this.

The only tracks we don't have from the real Lucas Oil Schedule that I know of is:
Tri City Speedway (Illinois)
Jackson Motor Speedway (Mississippi)
Magnolia Motor Speedway (Mississippi)
Stateline Speedway (New York)
Paducah International Raceway (Kentucky)

Those four could be made if needed and any of the above tracks that we already have could be updated to look and race better too. What do you guys think and would anyone be interested in doing this?

prob 60% of those tracks are complete junk.

I'll rate them from 1-10 from what I've seen. Anything below 5 or 6 should definitely be touched up I think:

East Bay Raceway Park - 9 (Could use a little wider groove for easier passing)

Lawrenceburg Speedway (In Progress) - 9 (Will be a nice track)

Lucas Oil Speedway - 9 (Good track, overused maybe)

Knoxville Raceway - 9 (2k11 is a great track)

Brownstown Speedway - 8 (Underrated but bottom lane needs to not be so flat, I have worked on a new version of this that could be used)

Volunteer Speedway - 8 (Good track, could use a higher lane, I have worked on a new version of this with the inside pulled in more for more racing room)

LaSalle Speedway - 7 (Could used touched up with new radiuses and I think different dirt color, but not bad)

Batesville Motor Speedway - 7 (The new one is alright, but I think Diz put the wrong version of the track on here cause it feels weird and lap times are like 15 seconds)

Utica Rome Speedway - 7 (Good track, fast)

Florence Speedway - 7 (Fun track but could be touched up)

Cherokee Speedway - 7 (Could be touched up, but no issues)

Hagerstown Speedway - 6 (The Terre version of this would probably be better than the dtr1 version but could be fixed up)

Tazewell Speedway - 6 (Bumpy but fun track)

Portsmouth Raceway Park - 6 (Not bad but could be redesigned to look more realistic)

Muskingum County Speedway - 6 (Seemed like a good track and fairly realistic)

Lonestar Speedway - 5 (DTR1 track I think, people like it but could be touched up for sure. IDK how close it looks to the real one)

Dixie Speedway - 5 (Not very realistic, runs fine)

Rome Speedway - 5 (bumpy but fun track, needs issues fixed including black flag)

Virginia Motor Speedway - 4 (I started a new version of this from Terre. The old version I think is not very good)

Hartford Motor Speedway - 4 (Weird transitions into the corners but track is pretty realistic)

Wythe Raceway - 4 (Think this track is messed up maybe. I also started a new one of it)

I-80 Speedway - 2 (Horrible and inaccurate. Would need redone from scratch)

Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex - ?????

Fonda Speedway - ?????

I-77 Raceway Park - ?????


I don't mind racing the bad tracks at all because just like in real life on the series tour you'll run into some one laners and then some fast racy tracks so it's a good mix, but now it's so easy to touch them up that it wouldn't be a big issue

plus u have tracks like Ocala. and Screven, and deer creek, and i 55, plus 311 speedway

if its the Roaring Knob im thinkin of it probably should be on the dreaded P.O.S. track list

I believe that's the WoO tour Brad, we have less of their tracks in dtr2 as you can see below

Even cooler idea would be to host big races at unsanctioned tracks like midweek on a night when no leagues are running such as:

World 100 - Eldora
Topless 100 - Batesville
USA Nationals - Cedar Lake
Firecracker 100 - Lernerville

Cherokee is already on the schedule and so is Florence, but we could add the midweek specials or w/e as 100 lap races
Knox nationals may be lucas oil sanctioned
World finals is a WoO race but I think the new Charlotte is too good not to be on the schedule somewhere, a midweek special before the DTWC?

And I'm thinking of following the Lucas Oil tour since we have more of those tracks already

I think it would follow the real schedule as close as possible, and those races would be during the midweek for no points while the main races would be on a different night
