okay ... i click on the dtr2 shortcut on my computer it opens and what not then when i try to join a multiplayer server sometimes it works or epic fails and the error is error occurred reading udp socket i cant race online at all plz help

It sounds like you might have a corrupt render.str file. Download you a new one and drag it into your Dtr2 data file, it will say the file aready exist do you want to over right it with the new file ,just say yes. get a new render file here

It appears this has been happening alot latly, it my oppinion this is caused by a bad or currupt skin.str file, blowing the render file. When it is replaced everything seems to work just fine again.. Hope it fixes your problem.

wouldnt just downloading it again and instailling it fix the problem or is this render file modified?

why nbot just download 1 files like he is saying , rather than the whole thing again??

Not sure about it being the render.str file. This has happened to me when I've had to many tracks in the game. If you go in alone it will give you that error and usually kick you out and kill the server. But if you go in when other people are in the server it usually works fine until everyone but you leaves.
