hey guys
ive been runnin dtr2 at gamespy and the game does
fine.
a guy wanted to run dtrsc so i installed and patched it
but when i try to join a game it kickes me out.
no errors.ive tried changing screen resolution,
tried changing compatability mode.
i tried the directx control panel.
do i need to poke a hole in my firewall for gamespy?

If you race offline in dtrsc does it give you an error? And when you try to join the online game does it kick you out completely of the game or just that server?

I could put up a server for dtrsc and you could see if it works.

it would kick me out of the server.
no error message. i may have fixed it
it may have been a driver problem.
naw dont put up a server unless u want to
run a few laps.when am i gonna get to run
against will or shock ?i ran into gottarace

Well I don't get in the browser a whole lot, but I did see you in there the other day but had a league race to go to. The next time I see you in there I"ll definitely try and come in and run a few laps.

ANd I Can't race dtrsc cause i can't get it to work on my pc or I'd love to. It works but it flashes black and stuff but I can put up servers for it that are really good I'll just have to give u the IP>

i can give u a few things to try for dtrsc..
from the game cd install direct x 7..
it adds a few files wont hurt anything...
rt click drtsc shortcut and selecy properties
then run it in compatibility mode win98-me.
in the command line options editor for dtr2 and dtrsc
put a check in the no linkage...
if none of this works i have the directx control panel

im still getting kicked back out of the dtrsc server
and im wondering if my cds could be too old and too many scratches.
i have the original and a copy of it.can someone tell me where i might find an iso.
