Just wanted to ask on here if anyone was planning on running a Monday night series for the months of January and February. Nothing on the schedule right now. Didn't want to step on anyones toes so let me know now.

I will be running a Monday night DTR2 league for the months of January and February. Start time is 9:00 PM. Please be in the vent chat by 8:55 so I can get lineups set. Will be using the VLR Vent and VLR servers.

Chassis will be Defaults vs. Gen 5's. Tracks will be Defaults and popular add ons. The first race will be at the famed Rodeo on January 5th. No downloading or practicing necessary. I assume 99% of you have Gen 5's already. A full schedule will be out shortly.

Please post your Default skin on VLR if you have one.

Series will be called "Old Timey Racing by JFR" or OTRJ for short.

Here are some rules and what not.




1 3 lap hot, no exceptions

No r/s in heats. Be careful, and you will have no problems.

1 r/s on first lap of A main and B main

Heat lineups, by points except for first week , which will be random. Meaning, if you are high in points , you will start at the back of the heats.

A mains to be lined up by heat and bmain. Win your heat, and you will start on the first row.

If you get disconnected, your race is over, you can still run the A or B main if applicable. Will not use the r/s in the A main for this, unless more than one car is disconnected on the first lap.

Chassis are Default and Gen 5 Late Models. You are free to use either one as you please. Please have all Gen 5's installed.

Tracks will be Default and popular add ons.

3. 85
4. 80
5. 75
6. 70
7. 65
8. 60
9. 55
10. 50

11-?? 25 points for showing up.

No cheating,meaning no hyper shifting, chassis or track editing or anything else not discovered yet. Sanctions will be at my discretion. Not limited to banning, loss of points or deportation from the U.S.

Will be using VLR Vent and VLR Servers.

Goal is to run entire show in 30 minutes. A-mains will be shortened to accommodate this if necessary.

Heats will be 12 laps. B mains will be 15 laps. If 2 heats, top 3 will transfer. Top 4 from the B main will transfer.

No more than 8 cars will be run in heats. If more than 16 cars show up, 3 heats will be run.

This league is for fun, fart jokes and team bashing are encouraged.

If there is an on track incidence , and you want to give someone your spot, that is allowed, except in the Amain.

A mains will be 35 laps.

No pings over 125.

You will have to start in the rear of the heats your first time running the series, except for the first week which will be random.

If the game crashes, and the race is past lap 20 in the A main, the race is over. In heats and B main, if past half way, then race is official as well.

No subs allowed, I will take out your worse finish of the season, so you have one mulligan.

Husets and Eagle are good tracks to pick

The 9th could be Spindale and the 16th could be Eldora or another newer one.

VLR Vent

The triumphant return of the Default Chassis results in another VLR_Shock victory at Rodeo. RB kept him honest though and was on his heels right to the end. Top 6 cars were default, with the highest finishing Gen 5 being ICE_KingGinger. Next week the tour heads to Knoxvile 2k11, a fast mulit-groove track. Thanks to all who showed up, wasn't really expecting to have a full server. Remember, if you want to run for points, your worst finish of the year is thrown out.

I thin kBW and RB were in Gen 5's lol. According to my results. But Defaults are faster at Rodeo for me.

What I meant to say, is the top finishing redhead in a gen 5 was KG. Damn you Shock with your facts and knowledge.
