Hey how's it going. I was Guest Addison in the chat.

I found the website by trying to search possible connection issues when hosting/connecting through IP addresses. Basically I have a buddy and a couple others that want to run a race every now and then in the old DTR games, just for fun, but we can't connect to each other. I believe the issue is that we're both plugged through a router and not directly into the modem.

i looked thru all the old help topics lookin for something similar to your problem

what i was able to find was :

-someone said to check the firewall in your router , not only just on your comp
-another said something about having to register with gamespy

if they run in dtr2 specifically , they could just use a browser server
