Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt): UMP Late Model Summernationals/UMP Modified Summit Nationals, July 2013. Kenny Wallace spoke there and raced his JEGS modified, and Austin Dillon raced his Dirt Late Model there. My friend and I were at the side across from the S/F line, and Austin Dillon was signing autographs there, while Kenny was signing autographs at the opposite side. Since I was more familiar with Kenny Wallace, We tried to walk to the other side to talk to him and get his autograph. However, he was already in his car by the time we got there. I wanted to tell him I loved his Stacker 2 commercials with WWE's Big Show, and the dozens of cars he went through in the 90s-early 2000s. I did see Austin Dillon up close, though. Late Model winner: Shannon Babb. Modified winner: I forget.

Bloomington Speedway: UMP Sportsman Super Stocks, UMP Modifieds, NW Sprint Cars, UMP Hornets, August 2013. I saw the late Josh Burton's older sister, hugged her and almost cried. She gave me a new Josh Burton T-Shirt to support my late friend. Super Stock winner: Aaron Fields (featured in my SNAS Super Stocks), Modified winner: Once again, I forget, Sprint Car winner: Brady Short, Hornet winner: Not sure, maybe it was Luke Bland or someone.
