I'm working on a mod for NASCAR Heat where it has a bunch of skins for fictional drivers, most of which I created as early as ten years ago. No plans for converting them to DTR2 but I might do that eventually.
Also, here are some tracks I made for NASCAR Heat.
Tri State Speedway:
Foxville Speedway (fictional):
Circle Park Speedway (fictional):
The cool thing about NASCAR Heat is that you don't have the limitations that DTR2 has. When using a DTR2 track as a base for your NASCAR Heat track, you can do things such as copy objects, completely delete objects instead of moving them underground, and even add entirely new objects. Some of you guys should check it out!
The only thing you can't do in Heat is make the right rear tire of a Sprint car bigger than the left rear, lol.
But the handling is quite realistic, and you can do more with the engine than you can with DTR2, which makes me wonder why so many of the NASCAR Heat dirt guys have either moved to rFactor (well, it's more customizable) or DTR2, and not many are sticking with Heat.
So, how do you like what I'm working on?
