Hey guys,
Some of you may remember me I've been racing on here for years just not as avid as some, anyways, im having a problem connecting to servers whenever i enter mutiplayer the status bar will continually say "UPDATING" and will not show any of the servers and i have tried getting the addresses and entering them manually and it'll enter then my game will fail????

Any help is appreciated.

i can help you on the first part. No browsers will show up anymore because Gamespy is out of business. You have to manually type in the ip #s.

Why your game will fail is beyond my knowledge. Are you getting an error message when it happens?

my crashes to if i hit the browser i think its just games way of timing out

thanks guys! no error message just says dtr2 has stopped working, maybe i downloaded something corrupted into the game... last thing i remember downloading is the single player championship

make sure you have a car fonts folder that may or may not have came with the series in your data ...... drag the whole thing in your data

make sure nothing you have downloaded is double foldered


uninstall and reinstall if you cant figure it out get any sets out of there you want to keep

Try going into your documents folder. There should be an error.log file. Open that up in notepad or something, scroll down to the bottom and it should tell you what the error is.
